From a small house in Central Texas to stages, boardrooms, and mission fields around the world — the story of a life spent turning purpose into practice.
Marty Hale was born and raised in Central Texas, the son of a carpenter. Life asked a lot of him early — by the age of four, he had lost his mother and sister, and he grew up as one of seven children his father worked hard to raise. It was in that quiet, hardworking household that Marty began his own search for truth.
That search became a calling. At 14, he threw himself into personal Bible study. By 15, he was already teaching and preaching — a carpenter's son with a builder's instinct, just building something different.
Marty went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and an Associate's degree in the Science of Missions through Adventures in Missions and Sunset International Bible Institute.
He spent over half of his adult life as a full-time minister and missionary, carrying his work across the US, Mexico, and Asia — including some of the most remote communities in Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
Marty went on to found and lead Hale Holdings, a company of more than 30 privately held businesses spanning property development, hospitality, alternative medicine, travel, media, and personal and professional development.
He put three decades of hard-won philosophy into writing, authoring six books focused on mental toughness, peak performance, leadership, and turning life's turnarounds into growth.
Marty was honored by World News Today as "CEO of the Decade" and recognized by Success Magazine as an "Industry Top Gun" for his executive leadership across multiple industries.
Through partnerships with youth organizations, Marty has helped provide more than 2,000 grants and resources, implementing life-changing curriculum for young leaders around the world.
